The diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders, medication management and psychiatric evaluations by Psychiatrists and Certified Nurse Practitioners.
People seek psychiatric help for many reasons. The problems can be sudden, such as a panic attack, mood swings, thoughts of suicide, or mania. Or they may be more long-term, such as feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiousness that never seem to lift or problems functioning, causing everyday life to feel distorted or out of control.
If you are experiencing any of the following, a Psychiatric Evaluation may be one of the ways we can help you receive the treatment that is best for you.
- Depression
- Aggressive behavior
- Mood swings
- Thoughts of suicide
- Hallucinations / Psychosis
- Difficulty sleeping
- Hyperactivity
- Poor concentration
- Sadness / Irritability
- Worrying / Anxiety
- Increased levels of stress
Psychiatric Evaluations are simply interviews where you will be asked about personal and medical history, why you’ve chosen to visit us, and how you’ve been feeling.
