Toledo, OH – Harbor has purchased 4,000 tablets to aid patients with connectivity issues amid the Coronavirus epidemic period. The agency has moved all therapy and case management appointments to be provided through tele services and are administering assessments, psychiatric evaluations, individual therapy, day treatment, family intervention, substance use counseling, groups and vocational services via telephone and video. The tablets arrive pre-loaded with data the patients need, internet connectivity for telehealth sessions, email and a Patient Wellness treatment extender application. Harbor staff are delivering tablets to patient homes. These efforts are increasing patient access to care during this time of unrest. Harbor will accept new individuals in need of mental health or addiction services, regardless of their location or insurance, as well continuing care for current patients.
